CAFN Senior Park Ranger Competition #17-18-13
Seasonal Full-Time: May – August 2017
Salary: $30.23 hr and 37.5 hours week
Location: Haines Junction, YT

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Parks, Trapping and Harvest Manager, the Senior Park Ranger is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and reporting on the delivery of conservation, recreation, extension, and division services and activities within Tatshenshini Alsek Park. Represents CAFN and BC Parks as contact for the public, park visitors and contractors to ensure CAFN effectively fulfils its mandate under Operational Contract Agreement.

Education and Experience:
Grade 12 with successful completion of at least one years of post secondary training in renewable resource management with a minimum of one year work experience or equivalent combination of training and work experience.

Conditions of Employment:
Valid Yukon class 5 driver’s licence
Firearms Possession and Acquisition License
Valid Wilderness First Aid or equivalent
