Employment Status: Term Full time
Salary: 49,741.66 – $58,190.77
Location: Takhini River Subdivision, YT

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Field Projects Foreman, this position is responsible for assisting with construction, renovation and maintenance of CAFN residences, buildings and community infrastructure, and assisting with the Municipal Services operations as required. This position is based in the Takhini River Subdivision. Promotion of workplace health and safety, while implementing best practices for injury prevention is a top priority. The majority of the work for this term position is in Takhini River Subdivision; however, there will be a requirement to travel to other CAFN communities, as well as other Yukon communities on occasion.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of Grade 10, some carpentry and general labour experience preferred.

Conditions of Employment:
Valid Yukon Class 5 Driver’s License
Standard First Aid/CPR, WHMIS and MSDS
Must abide by both federal and CAFN Occupational Health and Safety regulations, Policies, and CAFN Personnel Policies at all times
