Employment Status: Fixed Term/Full Time ending December 31, 2018
Salary: $72,961.74 – $85,354.92 Level 8
Location: Haines Junction
Reporting to the Director of Capacity & Policy Development, this position is responsible for providing counsel and guidance in recruitment and employee relations matters on behalf of the Champagne & Aishihik First Nation; for maintaining accurate and correct recruitment files and data; for providing counsel and guidance to employees and managers and assisting and participating in the research and development of human resources management policies and procedures. Develop and implement training and educational plans that will promote skill development.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years education in Human Resources or a related discipline combined with extensive experience working with First Nations governments, preferably at a management level, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the appropriate knowledge skills and experience.
Conditions of Employment:
A valid class 5 driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract is required
