Spring Camp Youth Leader, Youth Camp Worker

Youth Camp Worker – Chaperone (1) one

Date: March 20 – 26, 2017 (7 event days)

Salary: $250.00 per day

Location: Klukshu, YT

Duties: Must be interested in cultural learning/teachings and interested in developing leadership skills. Must be an active participant and able to view this as a learning opportunity as much as an employment opportunity:

 Role model positive behavior and lead by example

 participate in camp activities and encourage youth to also partake in activities

 Chaperone youth ages 12-17

 Must stay at the hall in S . Will also be spending nights in a brush camp with the camp

 Good communication skills, able to ask questions

 Must be able to be out on the land during the camp

 Previous experience working with youth

 Ability to take direction

 Vulnerable Sector (VS) Check : This process verifies weather an individual has a criminal record, as well as any record suspensions (formally pardons), police records

 Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate

Location: Klukshu, YT

Duties: Y L s f ss s k ’s s various camp activities. The youth leader shall role model positive behavior during camp and will also commit to staying in for the duration of the camp. The Youth leader shall be between the ages of 15-17 years of age.

Youth Camp Worker Applicants must have Vulnerable Sector (VS) Check and a Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate. Please submit any supporting documents.
