CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

I.T. Support Services

Champagne and Aishihik First Nations (CAFN) is seeking expressions of interest for a contractor to provide temporary information technology (I.T.) client services support at our main office in Haines Junction from January through March 2017.

Contract requirements include:
• Receive, record and categorize IT-related issues and requests received by phone or e-mail into the CAFN online ticket tracking system.
• Respond to and resolve assigned tickets in a timely manner.
• Provide basic support and remotely troubleshoot user issues.
• The work is based in Haines Junction and completed via phone, e-mail, and remote access software, but may require some travel to provide hands on assistance and for occasional meetings when required.
Contractor payments: Contractor fees will be based upon a mutually agreeable hourly rate, based on the level of training and experience. Please include the hourly rate you would expect for this contract through March 31, 2017. Personal income tax, WCB and GST are the responsibility of the contractor. If required, travel will be reimbursed at CAFN government rates.
Requirements: Valid driver’s license, knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), computer skills and technical training, customer service experience, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, good organization, and able to prioritize tasks and follow them to a conclusion required.
