(RFP) Implementation of the CAFN Recruitment and Retention Strategy

The Champagne and Aishihik First Nations (CAFN) invites qualified contractors to submit proposals to assist with the Implementation of the CAFN Recruitment and Retention Strategy.

CAFN has an existing Recruitment and Retention Strategy with the following objectives:

  • Increase Citizen representation;
  • Enable CAFN to recruit employees more effectively;
  • Create a healthy work environment;
  • Training/Skills Development;
  • Rewards/Recognition;
  • Succession Planning

Key Information

Requirements:

1. Proposals must include a budget with hourly wage or contract amount for services, including travel between CAFN communities if needed.

2. Proposals should include additional skills or knowledge or innovative concepts that would apply to a recruitment and retention strategy.

3. References for similar work done for other clients.

Evaluation:

Proposals will be assessed on completeness, experience, value, and alignment with project objectives.

Proposals should provide a description of the individual’s knowledge and experience with CAFN, CAFN Citizens and CAFN communities.

Scope of Work

The successful candidate will:

  • Attend ongoing meetings of the HR working group and HR Standing Committee
  • Review and update the CAFN recruitment and retention strategy
  • Provide guidance and advice on implantation of the strategy
  • Provide administrative support for implementation of the action items from the HR working group and HR standing committee
