Porcupine Cell Phone Case

Before we had trade or glass beads to decorate our clothing we had porcupine quills! CAFN Heritage will be hosting a workshop to demonstrate and teach this ancient art of porcupine quill decorative sewing and what better way of merging this early art with modern technology than incorporating old with the new and creating a porcupine quill motif on a cell phone case! Workshops, will be held in the STTC board room at the Yukon Inn. Come join and learn porcupine quill decorative sewing with a Southern Tutchone elder. Workshop classes start Wednesday Dec 7th with five class’s total last class on Wednesday Dec. 15th Classes will be 5pm-9pm evenings Class dates Dec. 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15
