CAFN is looking for 1 person to fulfill the role of Program Coordinator for the Shär Ghra Summer Camp.
Date: May 2023 to September 2023
Wage: $33.00 per hour
Location: Haines Junction

Job Summary:
The Shär Ghra Camp Coordinator will develop an appropriate curriculum including
traditional/contemporary recreational opportunities and teachings including outdoor/on the land activities,
arts/craft based projects and Literacy skills to assist with developing interpersonal skills and academic
performance.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Working with Youth Centre staff, this position will develop the structure of programming for the camp
• Serve light breakfast, lunch and snacks daily
• General cleaning/maintenance of Camp facilities
• Working independently, as well as part of a team to create an enriching, fun and safe environment
• Demonstrating a positive attitude and serving as a role model to participants in the program
• Other delated duties

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, Class 4 preferred
• Acceptable Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector check
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment for all CAFN personnel
