Salary: Level 6 – $62,177.00 – $72,738.00

Location: Haines Junction

Job Summary:

Under the direction of Municipal Manager, this position operates a water truck and equipment for CAFN Water Delivery Services in accordance to safety standards and codes; and performs other duties.

Education and Experience:

Incumbent should possess a minimum Grade 10 or equivalent with training in truck operation and maintenance or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Valid Yukon Class 1 Driver’s License or Class 3 Driver’s license with air brakes certification;
  • Daily travel to CAFN communities;
  • Must wear CSA approved protective footwear;
  • Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment for all CAFN personnel
  • All Champagne and Aishihik First Nations employees are expected to conduct their duties in a harmonious and cooperative manner intended to enhance the First Nations efforts to build a strong and prosperous Government.
