Term Full-time (May 1, 2023 – Oct. 31, 2023)         
Salary: Level 2 – $ $20.64 – $24.15 per hour
Location: Haines Junction
 Job Summary:

 Reporting to the Senior Da Kų Custodial Worker, the seasonal Custodial Worker is required to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Da Kų Cultural Centre building in accordance with standards established by CAFN. They will perform a variety of cleaning duties in offices, public areas, exhibit areas, kitchen, assembly hall, washrooms and other areas throughout the Da Ku building. This position requires flexibility in hours & days of work and will have to accommodate the needs and requirements of the building occupants.

Education and Experience:

 Grade 10 completion and knowledge of janitorial functions for cleaning office space.  Previous relevant work/volunteer experience would be an asset.

  • Willing and able to occasionally travel to other CAFN communities
  • Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends, as required
  • Extended workdays may be required to meet workload demands during peak periods, as directed
