Salary: Level 7 – $76,949.70 – $90,020.27

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Governance, this position provides support to the Youth Council and its Executive. This position will be responsible for coordinating and planning recurring CAFN government activities/events, such as the Annual General Assembly and all events under the Christmas connects initiative. This position may also assist other CAFN departments with coordination and planning of other camps and events. This position will also be required to provide support to the Director and the Governance department as required.
Education and Experience:
Completion of Grade 12 or GED. Post-secondary training in administrative and financial functions would be an asset Considerable experience with a variety of computer applications. Hospitality/event management experience would be an asset. Experience working within a self-governing First Nation political setting is an asset. A combination of training and experience may be considered. This position must be able to meet deadlines and work independently in areas of responsibility.
Conditions of Employment:
- A valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license.

- Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends, as required
- Extended workdays may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods, as directed
