Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Property Services, this position is responsible for the effective and comprehensive project planning, development, implementation, reporting, and overall management of assets for Champagne and Aishihik First Nations (CAFN). This position plays a coordination role in responding to requests of internal and external sources for project execution and performs other related duties.

 

Education and Experience:

Completion of Grade 12 or GED with at least one year of post-secondary education in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field is required. Experience in project planning and execution is required. Experience managing contracts would be an asset. Experience using database or project management software would be an asset. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is an asset. Those with 2-3 years of relevant training and/or experience may be equally considered.

 

Conditions of Employment:

  • A valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Criminal Records Check
  • Valid First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends, as required
  • Ability and willingness to travel to CAFN communities and to various sites
  • Willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
  • Ability to lift material up to 40 lbs.
  • Extended workdays may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods, as directed
  • Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment for all CAFN personnel
