Job Summary:
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, and working closely with the CAFN Post-Secondary Program Officer, Summer Student Coordinator, Sha Je Coordinator, Education Department and other departments, this position delivers the ISET (Indigenous Skills and Employment Training Program) and participates in and supports CAFN employment and training initiatives and strategies as identified by CAFN and the land claims and related agreements. The position develops and implements employment generated skill specific training plans, supports delivery of the Summer Student Program, and performs other related duties.
Education and Experience:
Grade 12 with graduation from a post-secondary program in education, social services or other related field along with experience in training or employment services. Experience in delivering services or programs to the general public. Experience in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Internet). Experience using other software applications such as AIS (Aboriginal Information System) would be an asset. A combination of education, training, and/or experience will be equally considered.
