Term Full-time (September 2018 – March 2019)

Salary: $ 65,576.13 – Level 7A

Location: Haines Junction or Whitehorse

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Cultural Support Program Manager this position supports the activities of the Cultural Supports program. This includes working with both CAFN staff and various program partners to achieve the overall program objectives. This position helps to ensure that both the spirit and intent of this program are achieved, therefore must have a good knowledge of the First Nations values and principles. This position works to support the Cultural Support Program Manager to ensure that the overall program is delivered on time and on budget and achieves its objectives.

Education and Experience:

Grade 12 with post-secondary education in office administration and have one-year work experience in general office procedures or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience.

Trauma informed training and knowledge would be an asset

Culturally competent Crisis Response Training would be an asset (or willingness to receive training)

Conditions of Employment:

Valid Class five driver’s license.

Valid First Aid certificate.
