Salary: Level 8 – $75,123.00 – $87,883.00 Robust Benefits and Pension Package
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Senior Advisor, this position provides program and administrative assistance to the ECO including the Senior Directors to ensure effective and efficient support to the Executive Office. This position will assist in fostering good public relations with citizens, staff and other governments.
Education and Experience: Grade 12 or GED. Completion of post-secondary education in office administration, with experience providing a broad range of administrative support to senior management, including managing confidential documents and correspondence, and tracking financial/budgetary needs. Proficiency in working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet) is required. Experience working in an executive office setting is preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
Conditions of Employment: A valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license Clear Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check Valid First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends, as required Willing and able to travel to other CAFN communities Extended workdays may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods, as directed Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment for all CAFN personnel All Champagne and Aishihik First Nations employees are expected to conduct their duties in a harmonious and cooperative manner intended to enhance the First Nations efforts to build a strong and prosperous Government.
