Community Dinner – National Addictions Awareness Week
November 29, 2024
Location: Takhini Hall, Takhini River Subdivision
You will be required to submit an updated resume with copies of any and all certification of First Aid and Food Safe Level 1 and/or 2. Previous experience involving large events will be taken into consideration.
Head Cook x 2 Days
Dates: November 28 & 29, 2024 (1 shopping/prep day & 1 event day)
Salary: $325.00 Per day
Location: Takhini Hall
Duties: Plan menu, purchase food, prepare and cook dinner in a timely manner for approximately 101 people. Must include gluten/dairy free options. Must have Food Safe and First Aid Certification.
- Oversee beverage station; ensure it is clean and stocked
- Oversee clean up upon completion of the event
- Ensure kitchen staff are meeting Food Safe practices at all times
- Leftover groceries must be returned to department
- Other related duties
Assistant Cook x 2 Days
Dates: November 28 & 29, 2024 (1 shopping/prep day & 1 event day)
Salary: $275.00 Per day
Location: Takhini Hall
Duties: Take direction from Head Cook. Will be required to assist with duties listed above. Must have Food Safe certification.
- Ensure beverage station is clean and stocked
- Ensure kitchen food safe practices are met at all times
- Leftover groceries must be returned to department
- Clean up upon completion of the event
- Other related duties
Cooks Helper x 1 day
Dates: November 29, 2024
Salary: $175.00 per day
Location: Takhini Hall
Duties: Take direction from both Head Cook and Assistant Cook during the event. Assist with storage, preparation, serving and other related duties as listed above. Focus on kitchen/event area clean-up during and after the event. Must have Food Safe certification.
