First Aid Attendants for CAFN General Assembly at Champagne, Y.T.
These short term service provider positions will provide on call availability for First Aid service at the CAFN General Assembly at Champagne. They must have EMR, OFA 3 or RN Certification.
These 2 positions will provide 24 hours First Aid services at the CAFN General Assembly, September 6 – 8, 2024; this includes being on-call, on site overnight.
Dates: September 6 – 8, 2024 (3) days
Wages: $600.00 per day
Location: Champagne, Yukon
Duties:
- Set up and maintain a First Aid Station at the CAFN General Assembly.
- Provide emergency response to G.A. participants in the event of an injury, illness or emergency situation.
- The On-Site First Aid Attendant will be responsible for:
- providing First Aid services and extrication services as required,
- maintaining all first aid supplies,
- organizing and protecting the personal first aid records of clients attended to,
- ensuring all incidents are reported, logged and that records are submitted in accordance to contingency plan.
- Other related duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- EMR, OFA 3 or RN is REQUIRED
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, class 4 would be considered an asset
- Must be able to do Heavy lifting over 40 pounds
- Physically fit
