AGS Facilitation Services Expression of Interest

Mar 15, 2024

On behalf of the Äshèyi (Aishihik Generating Station or AGS) Project Officials Group (POG) and Technical Working Group (TWG), we invite you to identify your availability and interest in facilitating a series of group sessions regarding the development and implementation of the AGS water use licence, Fisheries Act Authorization, and associated agreements between Yukon Energy, the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations, and Yukon Government. We anticipate that each meeting will require support in three key steps including:

  1. Preparing for each meeting (e.g., scheduling, agenda setting, determining resource material requirements).
  1. Facilitation of each POG meeting (approximately 2 hours in length) and TWG meeting (approximately 3 hours in length).
  1. Post-meeting tasks including preparing, distributing, and finalizing draft meeting summaries that highlight topics discussed, key outcomes of discussion, and any follow up actions.

The purpose of a facilitator will be to ensure that discussions are organized, that all Parties have an opportunity to be engaged and involved in a meaningful fashion, and to guide discussions to meet the objectives of the POG in fulfilling its mandate as described in the Terms of Reference.

The POG’s tentative annual work plan includes monthly meetings and the TWG’s includes meetings every two weeks through the end of March 2025, with meetings thereafter for the foreseeable future. Additional requests for facilitation support beyond the three monthly meetings may be requested on a case-by-case basis depending on events that may be planned as the year progresses (e.g., initiatives around community engagement or periodic updates to the AGS Senior Officials Group). We are seeking facilitation services for each of these POG and TWG meetings for a one-year term with the possibility of extension. We plan to hold all technical meetings via teleconference or videoconference, with in-person participation happening periodically depending on representative availability.

If you are interested, please submit a proposal outlining your facilitation approach and an estimate of costs (on a per meeting basis) to undertake this work. Please submit a response by Friday March 1, 2024. The successful facilitator will be determined based on availability, suitability, and pricing. Two recent client references are kindly requested as part of a proposal submission.

Closing Date: 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024
