Casual Full-Time (ASAP – September 20, 2019)
Salary: $17.12 – $20.11 per hour
Location: Haines Junction (up to 4 positions)
Job Summary: This position will support community and personal wellness by providing an opportunity for engagement and learning in skills identified by the Dän Ts’änānän project within the traditional territory of Champagne and Aishihik. Reporting to the Kwätsʼänäkhe kʼènji Coordinator (Greenhouse Coordinator), this position engages in experiential learning opportunities that develop skills related to food security, carpentry, interpretive guiding and overall community, and lifestyle choices through exploring career and educational paths and work/life development.
Education and Experience: Grade 10 completion is preferred. Experience as a general labourer, farmer, guide, camp or work crew is an asset.
Conditions of Employment: Completion of an intake with the Dän Ts’änānän program is a requirement. Willingness to obtain all required safety and program certifications, as identified by Dän Ts’änānän
