Senior Director, Government Services Competition #18-19-76
Salary: Level 10 – $93,680.15 – $109,592.53 (**may be subject to change pending review of wage scale)
Location: Haines Junction, YT (**relocation benefits may be available)
Reporting to the Executive Director and sitting as a member of the Management Committee, this senior position directs the activities of the Government Services Department including planning and evaluating in the areas of Municipal Services, Governance, Finance, and Human Resources. This position must have proven leadership, excellent communication skills and supervision skills and ability to set clear goals, priorities and objectives.
Education and Experience:
Masters of Public Administration an asset
Professional designation such as CPA or CAFM an asset
Six or more years of senior management accounting experience
Experience working with ACCPAC
Member of AFOA an asset
Ten years of progressively responsible administrative and technical experience in a government and/or private sector setting and at least four years’ supervisory experience.
Proven leadership and supervision skills with the ability to delegate, set clear expectations, train and develop, motivate and manage performance.
Experience as a member of a management team and working with elected officials
