Head Cook (1)
$375.00/day (2 days, includes shopping and prep)
Mandatory Certification and Duties:
- Food Safe Level I/II required. Previous experience cooking traditional foods.
- Prepare a traditional Menu for a Traditional Community Feast (200 ppl)
- Menu shall include traditional delicacies/appies (provided to prepare)
- Must include Gluten Free options
- Must be able to shop for the amount of people they are cooking for in budget
- Shop with the Assistant Cook and coordinate delivery to Da Ku Cultural Centre kitchen
- Supervise the Assistant Cooks and Cook Helpers. Ensure Kitchen is left cleaned and sanitized.
Assistant Cook (1)
$325.00/day (2 days, includes shopping and prep)
Mandatory Certification and Duties:
- Food Safe Level I, required. Previous experience cooking traditional foods is an asset.
- Assist the Head Cook to prepare a traditional meal for a Traditional Community Feast (200 ppl)
- Shop with the Head Cook and help coordinate delivery to Da Ku Cultural Centre kitchen
- Ensure Kitchen is left cleaned and sanitized. Other duties per the Head Cook.
Cook’s Helper (1)
$225.00/day (1 event day)
Mandatory Certification and Duties:
- Food Safe Levels I is an asset; First Aid would be an asset
- Help Cook’s to prepare a traditional feast per the Head Cook’s direction
- Keep the Beverage Station stocked and clean
- Assemble the food delivery stations and serve if required
- Ensure Kitchen is left cleaned and sanitized. Other duties per the Head Cook.
