NOTICE OF ELECTION

Notice Date – August 4, 2022

An election will be held for:

One (1) Chief
One (1) Elder Councillor
One (1) Youth Councillor
Four (4) Councillors

Election Day will be Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Nomination forms can be picked up at the CAFN Administration Office in either Haines Junction or Whitehorse or downloaded from the CAFN website: www.cafn.ca/2022-election/. The forms are also available from the Chief Returning Officer.

All nomination forms for candidates must be filed by 4:30 P.M., August 31, 2022 with the Chief Returning Officer.  The Forms may be: a) sent by registered mail so that they are received by the Chief Returning Officer no later than 4:30 PM August, 31, 2022; b) they can be hand delivered in person to the Chief Returning Officer (call 867-332-1941 for Haines Junction Location); or  c) they can be scanned and emailed to [email protected] by 4:30 P.M., August 31, 2022.
