Section 74 (1) of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations Constitution (2012) states that every five years the Constitution may be reviewed and that only CAFN Citizens have the ability to propose amendments. Section 76 states Chief and Council shall establish a Constitution Committee to work with the Constitutional Registrar and be responsible for all procedures related associated with the amendment process.  

CAFN is seeking applications for three (3) Citizens – one Elder and two members at large – to be part of the Constitution Committee.

The Constitution Committee will be required to meet at least 3 to 4 times and will be required to attend the Annual General Assembly.

Committee members will receive a daily honorarium and travel reimbursement at a rate determined by the First Nations policy.
