Vehicle Removal and Recycling
Property Services is excited to announce that our Department will be removing and recycling more end-of-life vehicles this month. This work aims to contribute to greener and more sustainable communities.
During the next 2 weeks, we will be collecting end-of-life vehicles in Haines Junction, and Canyon Creek.
If you have any old vehicles sitting on your property that you wish to dispose of responsibly, we encourage you to take part in this environmentally friendly endeavor. Additionally if you own a vehicle that is on CAFN land, outside of your property- such as in front or behind the CAFN Municipal Shop, please reach out so we know who those vehicles belong to and what their intentions are with those vehicles.
Recycling end-of-life vehicles not only helps us to reduce environmental impacts but also supports the growth of our community in a sustainable manner. By taking part in this program, you contribute to making our neighborhood cleaner, safer, and more beautiful, which fits into the goals of our Vision Statement of conserving our environment.
