9°CCitizens, families, Elders, youth, and community partners are invited to join us at Äshèyi Män (Aishihik Lake) for a five‑day cultural camp and the Äshèyi Gathering on July 4.
The purpose of the gathering is to:
• Revitalize connections between Äshèyi, the people, and the land
• Support knowledge sharing across generations
• Share the history and path forward to let Äshèyi rest with other Parties
Camp activities include:
Beading and language sessions, net setting and processing, community workshops, field trips, campfire talks, and optional photo/video interviews with Elders and youth.
Location: Äshèyi & Shäkat Ku Camp
Travel: Drive the Aishihik Road (approx. 4–6 hours). A boat shuttle from 27 Mile will be available on July 4 (weather dependent, limited space). Please call to reserve
