Planned Search and Rescue Activities near TRSD

We want to remind residents in Takhini River Subdivision that RCMP members may be in the area today (Nov. 2) as they search for Gerald James Balmforth.

Mr. Balmforth was last seen in TRSD on Oct. 13. A physical description is available in the attached notice from Yukon RCMP.

CAFN is aware that some Citizens may wish to assist in the search, so we are gauging interest from those who want to volunteer their time and effort.

We are asking those people to report to the Takhini Hall today to meet with Rose Kushniruk, our coordinator on site.

If you wish to volunteer, please be mindful of the weather forecast. We recommend dressing warmly and wearing sturdy footwear.

Gwä̀naschis/thank you for your consideration as we pray for Mr. Balmforth’s safe return to his loved ones.
