Long Ago Peoples Place, was established in 1995 to welcome local, national and international visitors to an educational venture…to walk with local First Nation guides that take you back in time, to our beginning. Through a recreated village setting that is nestled down a walking trail. Experience the structures, learn about the natural resources that provide shelter, preservation of food, and trapping technologies.
A place to learn, listen and feel our tutchone peoples stories, history and lifestyle. A place to walk gently and see with your own eyes and enter into our authentic place. Stories that are not told in books, but past on by those who are oral practitioners.
Take some time to sit and enjoy hot tea and hot bannock, while you converse with the camp hosts. Book your date and time via longagopeoplesplace.com
Look forward to seeing you all on the unbeaten trail.
