Walker Home Construction (WHC) is a local first nation owned and operated
construction company which employs primarily first nation citizens.
The company has successfully operated in Whitehorse as well as various
communities around Yukon for the past 13 years working on both small- and
large-scale construction, repair, and alteration projects with a focus on
residential contracting. In addition, we also supervise all sub-trades,
design projects, provide home inspections and handle all permitting and inspections.
Over the years WHC has worked hard to develop strong relationships with
customers, building suppliers, building organisations and governments.
It is these strong relationships that have helped contribute to our growth
and success. It is our vision to maximise the benefits to each community and
costumer we work with. One of the ways we do this is through hiring local
employees & sub-contractors and by offering partnerships with community and
developments corporations. Through these relationships we have heard a common
need–Consistency and Quality. It is these two guidelines that help us strive
