Climate Change Infrastructure Adaptation Meeting – Champagne

Purpose

CAFN Lands and Resources is developing a Community Infrastructure Climate Change Adaptation Plan for Haines Junction, Canyon, Takhini and Champagne. The purpose is to identify infrastructure that may be vulnerable to climate change. For example, homes vulnerable to flood, wildfire, roads affected by permafrost melt, access for drinking water and wastewater services.

We invite community members to share their experiences and ideas about how to adapt their home communities to prepare for potential climate change impacts.
