SALMON CAMP at Łu Ghą (KLUKSHU)
This is a family based camp, and all are invited to come participate in hands-on traditional
harvesting of salmon at Klukshu and Shäwshe area. Activities include salmon harvesting,
gaffing technique instructions, processing and caring for salmon, weir tour, traditional
knowledge sharing, Kwandür session – Reconnecting Dan Shäwthän and walking tours of
our traditional fishing area of Thet’à Chuà (Village Creek) to stay connected to our cultural
traditions while maintaining our relationship with the land and its attributes.
