Expression of Interest: Minute Taking Services – Application Deadline Extended March 17, 2023
The Champagne and Aishihik First Nations (CAFN) is seeking experienced individuals or companies who can attend and take/prepare minutes for various meetings for Champagne and Aishihik First Nations. Meetings may include, but are not limited to: Chief and Council; Executive Council of the Whole (ECW); and Directors .
Deliverables: The minute taker is expected to attend all meetings. The meeting minutes must synthesize the topics discussed, slides presented, and technical issues covered in a comprehensive and understandable way. For some meetings, it is important to capture the various comments raised by meeting attendees, as well as votes taken. The minutes do not need to be a transcript of the meeting, but they need sufficient detail to understand the nuance of the discussion. by next business day for distribution.
Meeting logistics will vary. (E.g. locations may vary between CAFN communities, in-person or on-line platforms; meeting length). Must have own computer with Microsoft Office .

Interested parties should include the following information with their expression of interest:
- name and address,
- qualifications and experience relevant to providing this type service,
- examples of similar work performed, and
- proposed price the contractor will charge for services.
Applications will be evaluated based on relevant qualifications and experience, the quality of the information submitted and the proposed price. Champagne and Aishihik First Nations need not accept the lowest priced, the highest ranked, or any proposal, and reserves the right to reject or accept any proposal without further explanation.
This call out does not commit the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations to award a contract. CAFN reserves the right to cancel this call out at any time without award or compensation to proponents. Proponents are solely responsible for their own expenses of preparing, presenting, and delivering their proposals.
