COVID-19 rapid tests are still available for Citizens and staff!

CAFN believes that routine, voluntary testing at home helps prevent COVID-19 transmission in our community.  Self-testing is safe and easy to do, with results in just 15 minutes.  Self-tests are free for CAFN Citizens and staff.  CAFN recommends that individuals self-test one to two times a week (every 3-4 days), especially: after travel, after close contact with someone who has COVID-19, or before visiting someone vulnerable (Elders, cancer or immune-compromised, not vaccinated).

NEW:  CAFN now recommends swabbing your THROAT and your NOSE for the most accurate self-tests results.  Please check out the updated instructions here.

CAFN now has TWO kinds of rapid self tests, Abbot PanBio and BTNX.

Abbot PanBio instructions are here: these tests are usually packaged in ziploc bags assembled by CAFN
