Haines Junction: January 28, 2025 & Whitehorse: January 30, 2025. There will be a luncheon at 12: with (2) snacks available throughout the day – 6: p.m.
You will be required to submit an
updated resume with copies of any and all certification where applicable.
Head Cook (1) Haines Junction
Date: January 28, 2025, Daku; 150+ people
Head Cook (1) Whitehorse
Date: January 30, 2025 (location to be determined) 200 people
Salary: $400.00 per day x 2 days each event
Duties: The Head Cook(s) will be required to plan, shop and cook lunch with snacks for approx. 151+ people at H.J. & 200 people at Whitehorse
Must include gluten/dairy free/vegetarian options as required:
- Plan the meal & snacks: shop, prep and prepare for serving of the food.
- Oversee the set-up, cleaning & dismantling of serving area.
- Oversee; beverage station is kept clean and stocked.
- Oversee clean up after meals & snacks.
- Ensure all kitchen staff are using food safe practices at all times.
- Other related duties.
Assistant Cooks: (1) Haines Junction, January 28, 2025
Whitehorse, January 30, 2025
Salary: $350. Per day x (2) days each event
Duties: The Assistant Cook(s) will be required to assist the Head Cook with the planning, shopping & cooking lunch with snacks for each location. Must include gluten/dairy free/vegetarian options as required:
- Duties; assisting the Head Cook as listed above
- Other related duties.
Cooks Helpers: (1) Haines Junction, January 28, 2025
Whitehorse, January 30, 2025
Salary: $250. Per day x (2) days each event
Duties: The Cooks Helper(s) will assist the Cook & Assistant Cook for each location with:
- Duties as listed for the Head Cook above
- Other related duties
Cleaner (1) Haines Junction, January 28, 2025
Whitehorse, January 30, 2025
Salary: $150. (1) day for each event
Duties: Take direction from the Head Cook, Assistant Cook & Cooks Helper during the event with prep, serving & other related duties.
- Focus on kitchen & event area set – up as required & clean up during & after the snacks & meals.
- Ensure facility is cleaned & tables put away after the event.
- Other related duties
Cook & Assistant Cook Applicants must have valid Food Safe Certificate. Please submit any supporting documents with resumes. All Applicants must have their own transportation.
